Quick update
Hello travellers!
Today is 1 year since I came to Chiang Mai to see if I would like it.
I planned to stay for 6 weeks, and then I could always extend it for a bit if I wanted to.
Having a blast at Songkran, one of my favourites memories in Chiang Mai so far!
A year later, and I’ve just signed my lease on my apartment to stay for another year!
I thought it would mean the travels would slow down a bit, but that hasn’t happened at all.
In the last year I’ve been to:
Guadeloupe
Back to London (twice)
A weekend in Kuala Lumpur
A few days in Singapore
A tour around Central Europe including Austria, Liechtenstein and Slovenia amongst others
Kunming
And I have a short trip planned for next month as well!
But coming here has also made me change my mindset. I used to just travel around and not think about it.
Now, I have a purpose and business plan for my blog. I’ve started another couple of websites. And I’ve started my travel consulting (which I’m really excited about!).
I have no idea where I’ll travel to in the next 12 months, I’m always open to ideas if you want to send them to me, but one thing is clear…. I won’t be staying still!
